Administrative data of the Management Console

The Management Console uses the files listed below:

• console.properties.xml

• log4j.properties.xml

console.properties.xml

This XML file is located in the Management Console's config subdirectory. console.properties.xml contains the administrative data of all BeanConnect proxies that are known to the Management Console. This file is also used to store additional settings for the Management Console.

The console.properties.xml file is automatically updated or extended as necessary by the Management Console. It is not necessary to save the updated data explicitly.

log4j.properties.xml

This XML file is located in the Management Console's config subdirectory. The log4j.properties.xml file is the Log4j configuration file used by the Management Console. You can update this file in the Management Console's Settings dialog box. Select Extras - Settings... to open this dialog box.
