Uninstalling the BeanConnect tools

&pagelevel(3)&pagelevel

You uninstall a BeanConnect tool by deleting the tool's installation directory.

The only special case is the MC-CmdHandler tool. If the MC-CmdHandler is configured as a service (see Configuring an MC-CmdHandler as a service), then you must remove this service first. To do this, proceed as follows:

  • Windows systems:

    Call the script MCCmdHandler_UnInstSrv.cmd.

  • Linux systems

To remove the service call the script shsc/delete-bctoolcmdhandler-service.sh
You need system administrator authorizations to perform these activities. You may therefore need to ask the system administrator to perform this task.
