Generation of the subsystem catalog

CLIP comprises a privileged (TPR) part and a nonprivileged (TU) part. The nonprivileged part of CLIP is loaded by the dynamic linking loader DBL when the CLIP subsystem is started.

The privileged part of CLIP is loaded and unloaded using DSSM (Dynamic Subsystem Management). CLIP provided proper SYSSII file to make installation automatic by IMON.
