Changes since the last edition of the manual

The following important changes have been introduced in this edition of the “Diagnostics Handbook” since the publication of the previous edition:

• The manual has been adapted for BS2000 V21.0.

• Chapter on CDUMP:  A system dump that was stored on tape can be copied to a disk with PERCON utility routine.

• Chapter on DAMP

  • New type of output format ASC

  • New standard procedure LIST_CONTROL_BLOCK.

  • In the symbol library $TSOS.SYSSMB.DAMP the elements STATUS that refer to no longer used HSIs have been removed.
