Changes since the last edition of the manual

The “Introductory Guide to DMS” was last published for BS2000 OSD/BC V11.0. The following major changes have been made since the last edition of the manual:

• A new Net-Storage volume type NETVOL is introduced with BS2000 V21.0A. These volume types cannot be accessed in lower BS2000 versions. The previous volume type NETSTOR is still supported, but can no longer be set up under BS2000 V21.
• The support of USER-PFA is cancelled.
