Objectives and target groups of this manual

The manual addresses all BS2000 assembly language programmers.

The user should be familiar with the Assembler language and the use of macros. The “Assembler Instructions (BS2000)” manual [1 (Related publications)] and “ASSEMBH” reference manual [2 (Related publications)] can be used for this purpose. The present manual summarizes the most important information on the use of macros (chapter “Use of macros”).

The user should also have practical experience of BS2000. Appropriate information is provided in the “Introduction to System Administration” manual [10 (Related publications)].
