iswupper - test for uppercase wide character

Description iswupper() tests whether the wide character wc is an uppercase letter.
| In all cases, wc is an argument of type wint_t, the value of which must be a wide character code corresponding to a valid character in the current locale or must equal the value of the macro WEOF. If the argument wc has any other value, the behavior is undefined. |

Notes | iswupper() is implemented both as a function and as a macro. To generate a function call, the definition of the macro name must be first undefined (#undef iswupper). The behavior of isprint() is determined by the class print of the current locale. The current locale is the C locale, unless it was explicitly changed using setlocale(). The behavior of iswupper() is determined by the class upper of the current locale. The current locale is the C locale, unless it was explicitly changed using setlocale(). Restriction This version of the C runtime system only supports 1-byte characters as wide character codes. They are of type wchar_t (see stddef.h). (End) |
