Size and configuration of storage systems

In order to achieve high or optimal IO performance, the following is recommended when storage systems are used:

• As far as possible, new storage systems

• Sufficiently dimensioned cache storage

• Latest firmware status

• High-speed disks (SSDs, preferably NVMe)
