Job switch 7

This job switch can be set either before EDT starts or during the EDT session. It prevents EDT from automatically releasing previously assigned disk space after writing SAM or ISAM files. Normally, EDT releases unoccupied disk space using the FILE macro (see chapter “File processing”).
