The following notational conventions are used in this manual:
In application examples, user input appears in Gothic typeface. All input lines are completed with at alphanumeric terminals and with at block terminals. Therefore these key pictograms are not shown at the end of the input lines.
Output from the operating system appears in Gothic typeface.
Literature references in the text are given in abbreviated form in inverted commas. The full titles of all publications referred to, together with a brief description of each, can be found in chapter "Related publications" (fddrlen, #103) at the back of this manual.
Cross-references within this manual include the chapter and, if neccessary, also the section. References to subjects which are described in other manuals contain only the abbreviated title of the manual. You can then use the index in that manual to find the corresponding page.
