Saving files and job variables (SAVE statement)

By means of the SAVE statement, the nonprivileged user or the system support can save files (even encrypted ones), modified data blocks, job variables and catalog entries of files on private volumes (disks, tapes or MT cartridges). The intervals at which saving is to be performed can be defined by the user, e.g. by means of ARCHIVE calls in repeat jobs.
ARCHIVE save data can be copied in a SAVE run.
