ARCHIVE V12.0C

• Improvement for INQUIRE statement to handle device types that have become obsolete since BS2000 V21.0A is released. For details see section "INQUIRE Display contents of directory file".

• The new Net-Storage volume type NETVOL is introduced with BS2000 V21.0A, ARCHIVE V12.0C provides support of Net-Storage files residing on NETVOL volumes.  For details see section "Net-Storage support". The Net-Storage volumes of NETVOL volume type can be used as a storage media.

ARCHIVE V12.0D

• The new ARCHIVE parameter AUTO-DIR-REORG is introduced to allow automatic reorganization of HSMS directories during HSMS save runs. For details see section "SHOW-DEFAULT Display the default parameter settings".

ARCHIVE V12.0E

• Forced purge of save versions is logged at the console 

  From ARCHIVE V12.0E if a user deletes save versions with FORCE=YES option via PURGE, the message ARC0824 is issued at the console. Also see section "PURGE Delete from directory file".
