-tlsMaxProtocolVersion

&pagelevel(4)&pagelevel

This option specifies the maximal TLS version to be used by the FTP server. It replaces in future together with the option -tlsMinProtocolVersion the old option -tlsProtocol. Until then the three options work together, i.e. only TLS protocol versions are supported, which conform to all three options.

Because TLS versions older than TLS 1.2 are declared as "deprecated" by the IETF, FTP now supports only version 1.2 of the TLS protocol. Therefore the option -tlsMaxProtocolVersion is currently superfluous, but becomes useful again, when FTP starts to support TLS 1.3.

-tlsMaxProtocolVersion
