Installing and uninstalling mail sender

After the installation of the product files, a further installation step is required:

The address of the mail server (i.e. its DNS name or IP or IPv6 address) must be set using the mailServer option in the configuration file for the mail sender backend (see the section “mailServer”).

If there are problems, you should set the logLevel option in the configuration file in order to store diagnostic information in the logging file specified by means of logFile (see the sections “logFile” and “logLevel”).
