With openNet Server, BS2000 provides a set of internet services that use the transport protocols TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) and UDP (User Datagram Protocol). The delivery unit openNet Server is a prerequisite for using interNet Services.

The server and the clients may run on the same system or on different systems.
