Auditing

The access method PLAM used by LMS has an interface with the subsystem SAT (security audit trail) in the security package SECOS (see [6 (Related publications)]). When SAT is active, the following events can be selected by the security administrator for logging:

• CREATE ELEMENT

• MODIFY ELEMENT

• READ ELEMENT

• EXECUTE ELEMENT

• CLOSE ELEMENT

• DELETE ELEMENT

• RENAME ELEMENT

• CREATE-SECURITY-ATTRIBUTES

• MODIFY-SECURITY-ATTRIBUTES

• DELETE-SECURITY-ATTRIBUTES
