MAREN network and domains

A MAREN network consists of all the BS2000 systems which access the same (central) MAREN catalog. To permit this, appropriate communication connections must be configured and enabled by BS2000 systems support. The software product HIPLEX MSCF is required (see the “HIPLEX MSCF” manual [12]).

The MAREN administrator sets up and manages the MAREN network.

When domains are used, the MAREN network is split into different groups.
