Privilege                 ADA, DA

This statement is used to change the administration area. This change remains effective until MARENADM is terminated or the statement is entered again.

The DA can enter the statement without operands, thus becoming the ADA. The ADA, on the other hand, becomes the DA of a domain.

Operands

DOMAIN =
Specifies a domain.

DOMAIN = *OWN
The ADA becomes the DA of the user’s own domain (default value: ADA). The user’s own domain is the domain of the system on which the ADA is currently working.The system-specific MAREN parameters of the local system apply.

DOMAIN = *ALL
The DA becomes the ADA (default value for DA). The system-specific MAREN parameters of the local system apply.

The following requirements must be met:

  • The system which is being used has been allowed using the statement MODIFY-MAREN-PARAMETERS ALL-DOMAIN-ADMIN = *ALLOWED.

  • A password specified with MODIFY-GLOBAL-PARAMETERS ALL-DOMAIN-ADM-PASSW = ... has already been specified with the command ADD-PASSWORD.

The ADA becomes the DA of the selected domain.

HOST =
Defines which system-specific MAREN parameters are to be valid for the subsequent statements.

HOST = *FIRST
The system-specific MAREN parameters of the first system (in the alphabetical order of the names) in the specified domain are valid.

HOST = <alphanum-name 1..8> (...)
The system-specific MAREN parameters of the selected system in the specified domain are valid.

DOMAIN = *STD-DOMAIN (...)
The ADA becomes the DA of the standard domain.

HOST =
Defines which system-specific MAREN parameters are to be valid for the subsequent statements.

HOST = *FIRST
The system-specific MAREN parameters of the first system (in the alphabetical order of the names) of the standard domain are valid.

HOST = <alphanum-name 1..8> (...)
The system-specific MAREN parameters of the selected system in the standard domain are valid.
