This statement rectifies inconsistencies in the MAREN catalog which are cause, for instance, by system errors. All records in the MAREN catalog are read and then written to do this.

Notes
As the statement accesses the catalog directly, it can generally be executed only under the privileged user IDs TSOS and SYSMAREN.
If the statement is executed on a remote system that does not have direct access to the MAREN catalog, a connection to the system that imported the pubset with the MAREN catalog must be set up beforehand using the SET-RFA-CONNECTION command.
The MAREN catalog can be updated at any time from any system. It need not be closed explicitly. For performance reasons, the update should, however, be initiated on a system with the MAREN catalog.
