BS2000 key functions can be used in format mode and in format-free mode.
The following description relates to format-free mode.
Functions that are identical in format mode are indicated by the suffix "(+formatted mode)".
- The term “pointer” refers to the mouse pointer.
- The term “cursor” refers to the cursor in the BS2000 session window.
[AFG]
(Delete character)
Deletes the character at the current cursor position and the subsequent characters shift to the left.
[AFZ]
(Delete line)
All lines after the line containing the cursor move one line upwards.
[AM]
(Start marker)
Start flag for data transfer to the host (+formatted mode)
[DUE1]
(Data transfer)
Transfers data to the BS2000 host. (+formatted mode)
[DUE2]
(Data transfer)
Transfers data to the BS2000 host. (+formatted mode)
[EFG]
(Switch to Insert mode)
The characters starting at the current cursor position are moved in the writing direction by the number of characters pasted. This mode is exited by pressing the RS key. (+formatted mode)
[EFZ]
(Insert line)
The characters in the line containing the cursor and the characters in the subsequent lines move one line downwards.
[EM]
(End marker)
The end mark indicates the end of a data area to be transferred to the host or to the printer, or an area to be deleted using LVD. (+formatted mode)
[LA1]
(Print with device 1)
Data exchange between terminal and printer. The data is sent to print device 1. (+formatted mode)
[LA2]
(Print with device 2)
The data is sent to print device 2. (+formatted mode)
[LA3]
(Print with device 3)
The data is sent to print device 3. (+formatted mode)
[LSP]
(Delete memory)
The entire screen memory is deleted. (+formatted mode)
[LVD]
(Delete variable data)
The characters are deleted starting from the current cursor position up to an end mark or to the lower right corner of the screen.
[LZE]
(Logical end of line)
Indicates the logical end of the line. A logical line can include one or more lines.
[LZF]
(Delete up to end of line or field)
The characters between the current cursor position and the end of the line or an end mark are deleted.
[MAR]
(Mark)
The Mark function can only be used in format mode. A field can only be marked if the cursor is in it and it has the field attribute Markable. The marked field flashes or has the assigned color.
[RS]
(Reset)
Resets the error displays, send request and operating statuses; the content of the data memory is not deleted. (+formatted mode)
[RU]
(Roll Up)
The characters starting from the last line are moved one line upwards. The characters in the first line are lost.
[SBA]
(Home)
Moves the cursor to the start of the screen (top left).
