Converting a LAN-INET session to an RC1006 session

Sessions for which the LAN-INET parameter is checked use an outdated version of the transfer protocol in Windows. Therefore, these sessions should be converted to RFC1006 sessions.

  1. Open Session > Edit in the menu. The Basic Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Clear the LAN-INET check box.

  3. Specify an application name (e.g. $DIALOG) in the partner definition. Port number 102 is then used by default.

  4. Confirm with Save.
