The term 'OA121an' used in the following sections only applies to openFT versions >= V12.1C20.
For versions <= V12.1C10, the format 'OFA121a' applies to the term.
Here 'a' stands for the release status A, B, C, ... etc., and 'n' for the first digit of the correction status: n = 1 for 10, n = 2 for 20, n = 3 for 30, ... etc..
So the following mapping between the openFT version and the term to be used for 'OA121an' applies:
Version | Term |
V12.1A | OFA121A |
V12.1B | OFA121B |
V12.1C00 V12.1C10 | OFA121C |
V12.1C20 | OA121C2 |
If openFT is to be used with the FTAC functionality (see section “Administrating and controlling FTAC functions”), the openFT-AC delivery unit must be installed.
The openFT-AC delivery unit is supplied on CD as a separate order.
The openFT-AC delivery unit is installed with SMP/E as an supplement to the function SYSMOD for openFT described in section “Installing from CD”. openFT must be available in an SMP/E environment if the openFT-AC delivery unit is to be installed.
openFT (z/OS) including all the additional delivery units is supplied as standard only on CD. Therefore, you must copy the product files from the CD on a Unix or Windows computer and then transfer these to the z/OS computer and unpack them.
Proceed as follows:
Perform steps 1 and 2 in section “Transferring files from CD to the z/OS computer and unpacking them”.
Call the procedure FTACLOAD.CLIST:
EXEC FTACLOAD
This procedure unpacks and loads the XMIT files. This procedure is transferred during step
