Notational conventions

The following notational conventions are used throughout this manual:

typewriter font

typewriter font is used to identify entries and examples.

italics

In running text, names, variables and values are indicated by italic letters, e.g. file names, instance names, menus, commands and command options.

indicates notes.

Indicates warnings.
