Notifying results

The initiator of a file transfer request can arrange to be notified of the result. The logging function, which is available in a standard form on all platforms, is particularly suitable for this.

The following ways of notifying results are available on z/OS:

• Messages and return codes automatically issued by openFT (z/OS)

• Result lists generated by openFT (z/OS)

• User-generated result information
