You use ACTIVATE-OWN-ADDRESS to activate an own address to a (VLAN) line.
The alias name AVOAD exists for ACTIVATE-OWN-ADDRESS to provide SNMP support.

Activation of the address is logged with message BCA0572 for lines and with BCA0573 for VLAN lines.
ADDRESS=*IP(...)
own IP address which is to be activated.
IP-ADDRESS=<text 7..15> / <x-string 7..8>
Under IP-ADDRESS you specify the own IP address which is to be activated.
Syntax of the own IP address: <IPv4-address>.
ADDRESS=*IPV6(...)
own IPv6 address which is to be activated.
IPV6-ADDRESS=<text 9..45> / <c-string 9..45>
Under IPV6-ADDRESS you specify the own IPv6 address which is to be activated.
Syntax of the own IPv6 address: <IPv6-address>.
Command logging
Activation of an own address is reported with message BCA0572 for lines and BCA0573 for VLAN lines.
If processing is successful it is acknowledged with News BCA0670, otherwise with News BCA06C0.
