The BCAM mapping function enables you to assign names and addresses from different protocol worlds. You use the BCMAP command to administer the BCAM mapping function.
Some console types can only process entries containing up to 72 characters. If the BCMAP command with all its operands is longer than 72 characters, the command must be entered via the command file. Do not pad out the operands in sequences of BCMAP commands with blanks!
The description of the BCAM command is arranged according to function:
Define mapping entries – "BCMAP: Define mapping entries"
Delete mapping entries – "BCMAP: Delete mapping entries"
Modify mapping entries – "BCMAP: Modify mapping entries"
Display mapping entries – "BCMAP: Display mapping entries"
Manage mapping function – "BCMAP: Manage mapping function"
