SHOW-VLAN-DEVICE / SHVLDV: Show VLAN device information

You use the SHOW-VLAN-DEVICE command to show VLAN-device-specific options and attributes.

The alias name SHVLDV exists for SHOW-VLAN-DEVICE in order to provide SNMP support.

With DEVICE-NAME you specify the VLAN device for which information is shown.

DEVICE-NAME=*ALL
Information is shown for all VLAN devices.

DEVICE-NAME=<composed-name 1..8>
Name of the VLAN device for which information is shown.

DEVICE-NAME=*VIA-AGGREGATION(...)
Information on the VLAN devices which are determined by a link aggregation name.

AGGREGATION-NAME=<composed-name 1..8>
Name of the link aggregation for VLAN devices about which information is to be shown.

With INFORMATION you specify which information is shown.

INFORMATION=*STATE
The status of the VLAN device is shown.
The information is shown with the console messages BCA05D3 and BCA05D9.

INFORMATION=*ALL
All information for the VLAN device is shown.

INFORMATION=*SLOW-POLL
The device-specific SLOW-POLL option is shown.
This option cannot be shown unless the LAN protocol CSMACD is used on the line.
The information is shown with the console message BCA05D2.

INFORMATION=*DEVICES
The mnemonic device names of the VLAN device are shown.
The information is shown with the console message BCA05D4.

INFORMATION=*MAX-LPDU-SIZE
The MAX-LPDU-SIZE set by the administration is shown.
The information is shown with the console message BCA05D2.

INFORMATION=*MAX-LPDU-VALUE
The MAX-LPDU value currently set is shown.
The information is shown with the console message BCA0562.

INFORMATION=*CHECKSUM
The value for CHECKSUM processing set by the administration is shown.
The information for CHECKSUM is shown with the console messages BCA05D2 and BCA0566.

INFORMATION=*OFFLOAD
The value set for (TCP-)OFFLOAD processing is shown.
The information for (TCP-)OFFLOAD is shown with the console message BCA0566.

Command logging

Positive acknowledgments are supplied in news BCA0658, and negative acknowledgments in news BCA06A8. In addition, for positive acknowledgments, the messages BCA05D2, BCA05D3, BCA05D4, BCA05D9 and BCA0562 may also appear.
A description of the error messages that may be issued during command processing is provided in the table below.
