New commands

  • ACTIVATE-OWN-ADDRESS

    • This command is used to activate individual addresses. The addresses concerned here are in the “invalid” status. The assigned line need not be deactivated and reactivated as other addresses which are being actively used can be assigned to the line/VLAN line.

  • DEACTIVATE-OWN-ADDRESS

    • This command is used to deactivate individual addresses. The assigned line need not be deactivated as other addresses can be assigned to the line/VLAN line.

  • SHOW-BCAM-ADDRESS

    • This command is used to display addresses which are known to BCAM (own and partner addresses) and their activation status.

  • SHOW-BCAM-INFO commands

    All the following commands are based on existing BCAM-SHOW functions and can only be specified in interactive mode:

    • SHOW-BCAM-INFO-ADDRESS

      Show BCAM information on an address.

    • SHOW-BCAM-INFO-BASIC

      Show BCAM basic information.

    • SHOW-BCAM-INFO-CONFIG

      Show BCAM configuration information.

    • SHOW-BCAM-INFO-NAME

      Show information on BCAM objects which are selected by means of a name.

    • SHOW-BCAM-INFO-TOOLS

      Show information on the BCAM tools. 

Modified BCAM commands

  • BCMOD

    • ACCESS operand: New operand value ALLOW.

  • BCMON

    • RECORD operand: New operand value SIH-TIME.

    • INFO operand (for LAYER2): New operand value IO-TIME.

    • INFO operand (for VLAN-DEVICE): New operand values IO-TIME and UNICASTS.

    • Description of why the new output messages BCA0B5C, BCA0B5D, BCA0B60, BCA0B61 and BCA0B62 are output.

  • BCSET

    • New operand value I/O-DATA when selecting the trace events of PORT.
