ACTIVATE-VLAN-DEVICE/ AVVLDV: Activate VLAN device

You use the ACTIVATE-VLAN-DEVICE command to activate a VLAN device.

The alias name AVVLDV exists for ACTIVATE-VLAN-DEVICE in order to provide SNMP support.

DEVICE-NAME=<composed-name 1..8>
Name of the VLAN device that is to be activated.

SLOW-POLL=...
This operand specifies the SLOW-POLL behavior of the device.
SLOW-POLL=*ON results in automatic reactivation after device failure.

SLOW-POLL=*UNCHANGED
The SLOW-POLL setting of the device remains unchanged.

SLOW-POLL=*ON
SLOW-POLL is activated on the device.

SLOW-POLL=*OFF
SLOW-POLL is deactivated on the device.

If processing is successful it is acknowledged with News BCA067D, otherwise with News BCA06CD.
