SHOW-PROCESSOR / SHPRR: Show processor information

You use the SHOW-PROCESSOR command to display information concerning a (partner) processor.

The alias SHPRR exists for SHOW-PROCESSOR.

PROCESSOR-NAME = *ALL / <composed-name 1..8> / <c-string 1 .. 8>

PROCESSOR-NAME=...
Name of the (partner) processor for which the information is output.
The information is displayed by means of console message BCA08EA.

PROCESSOR-NAME=*ALL
Information is output for all (partner) processors.

PROCESSOR-NAME=<composed-name 1..8> / <c-string 1..8>
Name of the (partner) processor for which the information is output.

MAX-MSG-NUMBER=...
Maximum number of messages that can be issued for this command.

MAX-MSG-NUMBER=*STD
A maximum of 10 messages may be output at the console and a maximum of 50 at SYSOUT.

MAX-MSG-NUMBER=<integer 1..2147483647>
Maximum number of messages that can be issued for this command.


The number of messages issued can be exceeded when information is output because of the restricted output length of a message.
Multiple messages are frequently output for BCAM objects. Within BCAM these messages are counted as just one message.
In some cases the message BCA0765 is also issued in order to facilitate the assignment of the output information to the specified command.

Command logging

Positive acknowledgments are supplied in news BCA0720, and negative acknowledgments in news BCA0728, followed by the message NBR0740. In addition, for positive acknowledgments, the message BCA08EA may appear.
A description of the error messages that may be issued during command processing is provided in the table below.
