Note

  • Format of the VLAN tag (arranged bitwise), a 4-byte insert:

    00-15: VLAN protocol ID = 0x8100
    16-18: User priority, accepts values from an integer area
    19-19: CFI Canonical Format Indicator (=0)
    20-32: VLAN ID, accepts values from an integer area
  • Definitions for the VLAN ID and user priority can be specified via BCAM commands, especially the CREATE-NODE command that has been extended as of BCAM V19.0A. This VLAN feature is propagated to all objects assigned to this node. BCAM supports processing of VLAN tags from BCAM V19.0A on.
