Examples of both static and dynamic generation using BCIN and CREATE commands are provided below. Dynamic BCIN and CREATE commands differ in their default values as well as in the generation of auxiliary routes.
- In a dynamic BCIN command, multiple objects must also be implicitly created as in the CREATE commands. This results in slightly different default values.
- When a dynamic BCIN command is issued, activation is performed unless this is explicitly prohibited by the operand ACT=NO. In the examples, the prevention of activation is specified. After a CREATE command, activation must be initiated separately.
It is generally advisable to use the CREATE commands which precisely describe the individual objects such as hosts, nodes, lines, VLAN devices, VLAN lines, link aggregations, processors, and routes.
