On this tab you define the parameters for the automatic export of statistical values.
Is only supported for the standalone WebAdmin.
Changes made on this tab take effect immediately after you confirm the dialog box with Apply.
Time interval of Automatic Export
Here you specify whether the automatic export of statistical values should take place daily, weekly, monthly, or not at all. The export takes place daily or on Sundays or on the first day of the month at midnight.
Automatic Export File Prefix
Here you define a name component <prefix> of the file generated by the automatic export.
The file name is formed as follows: exp.<prefix>.<application-id>.yyyy-mm-dd_hhmmss.txt
For the file prefix "abc", the file name could look something like this: exp.abc.181129.2024-02-14_235957.txt<application-id> is a unique identification of the UTM application whose statistical values were exported to the file.
Test automatic export
If the test option is switched on, an attempt is made every night at midnight to export statistical values for each affected application until the export for the respective application was successful, i.e. an export file could be written.
After each change to the parameters of the automatic export, the export is tested again the following night for all affected applications. The same applies after restarting WebAdmin.
In addition, the export is tested the following night for newly configured applications, for which statistics collectors were created with automatic export option.
With a daily export, the test option has no effect.
Export values without Grouping Separators
If this option is selected, the statistical values are exported without grouping the thousands and without the percent sign.
Hints
The prerequisite for the automatic export of statistical values is that the desired statistics collectors have been configured with activated automatic export for the individual applications and that the UTM applications can also be contacted.
If you activate the automatic export for a statistics collector, other parameters required for the export are automatically adjusted:
- Activated
- Automatic Wake-Up
- Statistic Values Lifetime
A separate file with exported statistical values is written for each application.
If there are no values to be exported, no file is written.
