The WebAdmin add-on uses the SE Manager's Configuration Save and Restore (CSR) functionality.
A configuration backup can be executed or restored in the SE Manager. When this is done, the configuration data of the WebAdmin add-on is backed up or restored respectively in a way that ensures data consistency and the Catalina Tomcat service openutm is briefly terminated to permit this.
The WebAdmin add-on must be re-installed if the operating system on the management unit is updated. The installation operation recognizes that the WebAdmin configuration data is missing and automatically restores this on the basis of the last backup of the configuration data. If this backup is on the management unit not yet available, the WebAdmin add-on is working with an empty configuration database and the configuration data must be restored in the SE Manager.
