Redelivery with background jobs

If an asynchronous service is terminated abnormally by PEND ER/FR or by a system PEND ER before a transaction was completed with Commit, the service is restarted and the FGET message is redelivered, providing this functionality has been activated at generation.

Whether redelivery is possible and how often redelivery is attempted can be defined at generation (REDELIVERY operand in the MAX statement). When the FGET call is executed, the number of redeliveries is output in the KB return area.
