In the archive system an inventory is defined as a comparison of the current status of the archive with the archive record. An inventory is made using archive system commands (e.g. IVK
command in the MANUAL
menu).
The inventory statistics are compiled using the INV
parameter. They provide information on discrepancies between the current status and the archive record. The storing position at which an error has been detected and the archive number of the cartridge entered in the archive record are reported.
The archive number of the cartridge actually present at the storing position is not reported.
