The following notational conventions are used in this manual:

Runtime examples are shown in typewriter script.Inputs expected from the user are highlighted in bold.

In the text, references to other publications are given as abbreviated titles with numbers enclosed in square brackets [ ]. All references that follow refer to BS2000/OSD-BC V10.0. The complete title of each publication to which reference is made is listed under “Related publications” at the back of the manual. This is followed by information on how to order manuals.
