Error transfer

“Error transfer” refers to the fact that information on errors that occur is transferred from a subordinate procedure to the superordinate procedure.

The way that this is done differs, depending on whether the procedures are called in the foreground or in the background. For details, see chapter “Calling and controllingprocedures”.
