Starting SESAM/SQL programs via start commands

All SESAM/SQL programs are started using SESAM start commands.

It is assumed that you have installed SESAM/SQL and CRTE (CRTE=Common Run Time Environment) with IMON or you have stored the CRTE and SESAM libraries under the standard filenames described on "Tasks of the start commands". Further needed files are discussed in the chapter "requirements for starting".

For reasons of compatibility, the earlier command START-PROGRAM may also be used. You can find information on this in the section “Starting SESAM programs with /START-PROGRAM”.

With SESAM/SQL-Server you can use different correction statuses in parallel. For specific information on this, refer to "Specifying the correction status with the start command".
