storauth

The storauth command is used to manage the StorMan user authentification and StorMan roles.

storauth object –function –functionparam ... –connectparam ...

The first parameter specifies the object group of the repository that is configured:

First parameter object	Object
user	StorMan user

The second parameter specifies the function. Most commands support at least the following functions:

Second parameter function	Meaning
–add	adds an object to the repository
–mod	modifies the properties of an object
–rem	removes an object from the repository
–show	shows the attributes of one or more object(s)

If the –show function is specified, the output format can be selected by specifying the -format parameter.
