The storcfg
command is used to configure the StorMan repository.
|
The first parameter specifies the object group of the repository that is configured:
First parameter object | Object |
| hosts / servers in the confguration |
| management instance (e.g. CIM Object Manager) |
| storage systems managed by StorMan |
| pools to organize logical volumes |
| logical volumes |
The second parameter specifies the function. Most commands support at least the following functions:
Second parameter function | Meaning |
| adds an object to the repository |
| starts a discovery for the object to update the configuration |
| modifies the properties of an object |
| removes an object from the repository |
| shows the attributes of one or more object(s) |
If the –show
function is specified, the output format can be selected by specifying the -format
parameter.
