StorMan Roles

As of M2000 V6.5 StorMan completely adapts the user and role concept of M2000 (SE Manager).

The StorMan interal user and role administration is obsolete and no longer supported. 

StorMan supports the following 2 roles which can be assigned to a StorMan user:

• Storage Administrator (StorAdmin): this is the StorMan role for the storage administraton. Owners of this role are enabled for the comlpete set of StorMan functions.
  The SE Management role STORMAN-Administrator replaces the StorMan role StorAdmin.

• Information (Info): this is the StorMan role to show and monitor activities on the storage configurations. Owners of this role are authorized for the complete information functionality including performance and statistical data. The role does not allow any changes.
  The SE Management role STORMAN-Information replaces the StorMan role Info.

The following overview shows the assignment of StorMan authorizations to the StorMan roles up to M2000 V6.4 and their mapping to M2000 roles as of M2000 V6.5. The role STORMAN-Information maps to StorMan role Info.
