Information and Monitoring

StorMan provides flexible and generic support for storage systems based on vendor specific storage interfaces.

The storage systems to be monitored have to be registered in StorMan first.

This can be done by WebUI specifying the model of the Storage system together with its access data.

• Support for ETERNUS CS

  StorMan provides information and monitoring functions for ETERNUS CS based on the CLI of ETERNUS CS.

  The registration in StorMan is done for each monitored ETERNUS CS system via WebUI.

  For registration of the system the IP address, user and password are required.

  Storman needs a unique System Name for the monitoring of the ETERNUS CS. This is set via the WebUI: Configuration-> System Definition->Modify -> System Name 

• Support for ETERNUS LT

  StorMan provides information and monitoring functions for ETERNUS LT based on SNMP.

  The registration in StorMan is done for each monitored ETERNUS LT system via WebUI.

  For registration of the system the IP address and SNMP access data are required.
