The replication features cover the information and management of local and remote mirroring functions implemented in the storage systems and based on volume level replication.
These features are provided by StorMan’s WebUI (More Information ca be found in the integrated StorMan online help) and as CLI (see the chapter "Description of StorMan CLI").
Local Replication
The Local Replication covers the information and management of local mirroring functions within the storage system.
Folowing features are supported:
- Detailed Information and monitoring
Local mirroring based on full volume copies and mirrors (clones)
Local mirroring based on difference based technologies (snaps)
Remote Replication
The Remote Replication covers the information and management of remote mirroring functions between two storage systems.
The Remote Replication features support the management for Remote mirroring based on full volume copies in synchronous or asynchronous mode. Storages can be in the same or in different locations.
Folowing features are supported:

- Remote replication of full volumes and mirrors
