The VM2000 administrator can define the name of the backup file explicitly. In doing so, a foreign user ID may be specified for storing the backup file only if the VM2000 administrator has the TSOS privilege.
If the backup file is to be assigned the default name or if the file name is specified without a user ID, the file name is completed in accordance with the caller's runtime environment:
Command entry from a user task
The file name is completed with the caller's user ID.
Command entry from a KVP console or a logical console
Without operator LOGON
The file name is completed with the TSOS user ID.With operator LOGON
The file name is completed with the operator user ID.
Command entry via $VMCONS
The file name is completed with the user ID which is entered in the VM2000 parameter VMCONS-OPERID in the parameter file for the VM2-MON subsystem (see "Setting up the VM2000 monitor").
