Modifying the backup of a VM2000 configuration

The backup file, in which a VM2000 configuration is stored, can be edited using conventional editors. However, this is not recommended owing to the complexity of the file.

Nevertheless, if the file is to be edited, the directory with the start and end tags must be retained with the value ranges it supports. See also the section "Structure of the contents".

The dependencies which can exist between components of the VM2000 configuration must also be borne in mind.

Errors and inconsistencies in editing can result in being impossible to execute /RESTORE-VM-CONFIGURATION (or only partially).
