Terminating DAMP

DAMP can be terminated in a number of ways:

• by entering the END statement in the command line

• by pressing the  key. Confirmation is only required if the appropriate user option has been set (see "Modification by the user (special window: OPTIONS)").

Alternatively, DAMP can also be terminated as follows:

• Press the key (which interrupts the current program and switches to the command level) and enter the INFORM-PROGRAM command with one of the following texts:

  /INFORM-PROGRAM MSG='*END' /INFORM-PROGRAM MSG='*HALT'  /INFORM-PROGRAM MSG='*TERMINATE'	Terminate without a dump
  /INFORM-PROGRAM MSG='*DUMP' /INFORM-PROGRAM MSG='*TERMD'	Terminate with a dump
