Administration of MSCF networks

This chapter provides an overview of all supported administration commands and contains information on starting and stopping HIPLEX MSCF as well as on connection setup and clear-down. It also describes MSCF connections, the setup and clear-down of LCS, CCS, shared pubset, and XCS networks, the retrieval of information, and the handling of XCS pubsets.

Overview of administration commands

Processors are linked by a data communication network to form a function network. They can be connected to or disconnected from the network dynamically. The administration commands required to administer the DSSM subsystem MSCF and the MSCF network are summarized below.
