Function
The command provides information on the current status of the MSCF network as seen by the local system.
The command supports structured output in S variables (see "SHOW-MSCF-CONFIGURATION" (Show information on HIPLEX MSCF configuration) ) and the “Commands” manual [10 (Related publications)]).
Privileged functions
Only systems support (TSOS or OPERATING privilege) is able to use INFORMATION= *REGISTERED-FUNCTIONS to request information on the current states of the registered functions on the local system. This information is likewise not included in the output for INFORMATION=*ALL unless the command is issued by systems support.

Operands
INFORMATION = *MINIMAL / *SUMMARY / *ALL / *LOCAL-ATTRIBUTES / *REGISTERED-FUNCTIONS / *HOSTS(...)
Indicates what information is required.
INFORMATION = *MINIMAL
Default value. An overview of the connection and network data of the systems in HIPLEX MSCF is issued.
INFORMATION = *SUMMARY
Outputs an overview of the connection and network data of the systems known in HIPLEX MSCF. With the privileges TSOS and OPERATING, the status of the registered functions on the local system is also output.
INFORMATION = *ALL
Outputs all the available information on the MSCF network. This comprises:
the local MSCF configuration parameters and the current status (configuration) of the XCS network to which the local system belongs
the current states of the registered functions on the local system (output only for users with TSOS or OPERATING privilege)
the connection and network data of all systems with which there is a HIPLEX MSCF network relationship.
INFORMATION = *LOCAL-ATTRIBUTES
Outputs the local HIPLEX MSCF configuration parameters and the current status (configuration) of the XCS network to which the local system belongs.
INFORMATION = *REGISTERED-FUNCTIONS
Only privileged users (TSOS or OPERATING privilege) can select this value. Outputs the current states of the registered functions on the local system.
INFORMATION = *HOSTS (...)
Outputs the connection and network data of all systems with which there is a HIPLEX
MSCF network relationship. SELECT can be used to restrict the output to specific systems.
SELECT = *ALL / *BY-HOST-NAME / *BY-PROCESSOR-NAME / *BY-SYSID / *BY-PARTNER-TYPE
Selects the systems for which the connection and network data is required.
SELECT = *ALL
Default: outputs the information for all systems with which there is a HIPLEX MSCF network relationship.
SELECT = *BY-HOST-NAME(...)
The systems for which information is required are identified by their host names.
HOST-NAME = <alphanum-name 1. 8>Host name.
SELECT = *BY-PROCESSOR-NAME(...)
The system for which information is required is identified by its BCAM processor name.
PROCESSOR-NAME = <alphanum-name 1. 8>BCAM processor name of system.
SELECT = *BY-SYSID(...)
The system for which information is required is identified by its system ID (SYSID).
SYSID = <alphanum-name 1..3>System ID of system.
SELECT = *BY-PARTNER-TYPE(...)
The systems for which information is required are identified by their partner type.
PARTNER-TYPE = *XCS / *CCS / *LCS
Partner type.
OUTPUT = *SYSOUT / *SYSLST(...)
Specifies where the output information is to be sent.
OUTPUT = *SYSOUT
Default: output is sent to the SYSOUT system file.
OUTPUT = *SYSLST(...)
Output is sent to the SYSLST system file.
SYSLST-NUMBER = *STD / <integer 1..99>
Specifies whether the information is to be sent to the SYSLST system file or to a SYSLST file from the set SYSLST01 through SYSLST99.
The default is *STD, i.e. output is directed to the SYSLST system file.
