Any important changes of status and any errors detected are reported; blocks are highlighted by periodic messages. When potential conflicts arise, messages are output and systems support must make a decision. Non-critical errors are logged in the SERSLOG, which is also a source of supplementary information for any error displayed.
Regardless of the type of network, it is essential that systems support be kept informed of the status of all processors connected in the network. It is therefore advisable to check the MSCF connections and the status of shared pubsets on a regular basis using the following commands:

When analyzing network problems, particular consideration should also be given to the messages DMS03Bx, MCAxxxx and MCSxxxx in the conslog files of all processors in the network.
